COMEBACK WIN FOR SOX

Today was a real nice comeback win for the Sox. They were down 4-0 and came back to win 5-4 in the bottom of the 9th. Pedroia continues to sting the ball. Kotsay had a two RBI triple to tie it. Masterson pitched a great 9th. For the Sox, Cora singled to lead off the 9th (one of 3 singles he had) Crisp followed with a bunt single and then Ellsbury laid down a nice bunt and the O's pitcher threw it wild trying to get Cora at 3rd and the game was over.Playoff teams win games like this!Hopefully that non-playoff team from New York holds on to beat Tampa Bay and the division lead gets cut to 3. Sox up at least 4 over Twins in wild card and could be 5.

The Baltimore Orioles are the Washington Generals of MLB.....a win is a win though. All eyes are now on Beckett Friday nite.SFB

Very true. A healthy Beckett pitching like he did last year makes the Sox favorites to repeat. On the other hand, if he pitches like he has at his worst that will put a lot of pressure on Dice-K, Lester, and the bullpen.
