Hearing Abby Hasson will be new girls coach at Portland.
That aligns with my thoughts when I did not warrant an interview. I was thinking more like a Jaci Storey as I thought AH was playing overseas. Assume those leagues shut down. One of my favorite college players I have watched in person. Great person. She will have her hands full for a bit.
Coaching at Portland is the easy part. Keeping track of the players grades, attendance, and family challenges is not like Kansas anymore. Nice win for Bulldog Nation though.
Portland High School is excited to announce that our next head girls basketball coach will be Abigail Hasson. Abby played at South Portland High, the University of Southern Maine, and the University of Maine at Farmington. Most recently she has been a varsity assistant at SPHS.

Faux pas in reading post on way out the door. I forgot that Maddie had a sister that played also. Still a win for Bulldog Nation and best wishes during these very challenging times to coach. Playing at UMF hopefully gave her a chance to meet the Moss brothers to shed insight on the special place PHS is.
A veteran coach returns to the sidelines. Ron Ericson will return to the coaches box. Ericson will coach the Washburn girls this coming season.
