With Liam Dobson transferring, starting center Chris Mulvey no longer on the team, and his backup Vincent Schell also no longer listed as of today, I was hoping to get some O-Line commits in early. Unfortunately didn`t really happen, but we did get Jack Webb, a transfer from Sacred Heart who`s from Saco. He seems likely to play guard though.
Which leads me to wonder...what will our front five look like?
Right now I think it`s:
LT Tyler Royal
LG Matthias Staalsoe
C Michael Gerace (I think he`ll be moved inside from RG)
RG Jack Webb/Tyrie Francois
RT Max Lövblad
Hopefully the lack of game experience on the right side of the line doesn`t hurt us too much.
Today`s committments:
DB Kahzir `Buggs` Brown - https://www.hudl.com/video/3/9685986/5e7b7b840c54160cdcd0842d

Also, is anyone surprised by how many DB`s we signed? To me it seemed like one of our strongest positions. Gotta say, though, all of them look very talented. Especially Brown––kid`s a beast and a hidden gem.

Nick Charlton 12.16.20 ....
In my opinion, defensive back was definitely an area of concern on this team. Maine`s safety play, in particular the deep third and deep middle pass coverage, was not very good. The run support was adequate. These signings yesterday look like a positive step to address these positions. Also, keep in mind Shaquille St Lot suffered an injury that will keep him out for the season.

I agree BZ we strengthened the D secondary with this class. If you have time listen to Rich Kimball interview withh Coach Charlton as they do a great job of insight into these 8 players.
Such a confusing time as this past years frosh class is like a distant memory. They have only a couple more schollies and they also discuss the Liam Dobson going Portal as well.
