Congratulations to Coach Clifford. It's too bad that Charlotte didn't want to keep him around any longer, but nice to see that he landed on his feet and got the head coaching job in Orlando. He signed a 4-year contract. Hopefully the higher ups will be able to get him a few pieces in which to build around and he can get the Magic going in the right direction after a couple years of rebuilding.

Clifford who spent the last five seasons as coach of the Charlotte Hornets was an assistant coach on Stan Van Gundy's Magic staff for five years, including during the team's most recent playoff run in 2012.I've had 18 great years in this league and I've enjoyed every year, but none more than the five years here, Clifford said.
