Matt Wotherspoon allowed one hit in 1.2 scoreless innings and Giovanny Gallegos threw two perfect frames and struck out the final five batters he faced. Tyler Jones worked three scoreless and allowed three hits while walking two and striking out five. J.P. Feyereisen (W, 7-3) closed out the game with three scoreless frames.Trenton pitchers combined to strike out 21 Sea Dogs hitters, tying a franchise record for the most strikeouts in a game by Portland (8/2/97 v.
