ON BASEBALL: Sox haven't won winter, but their building By Kevin Thomas Do you like how general manager Ben Cherington has infused new talent into the Boston Red Sox so far? Let's make a list and check it twice. Cherington has signed five free agents this offseason:* David Ross. A back-up catcher.* Jonny Gomes. An outfielder who is limited defensively and batted .209 against right-handed pitching last year.* Mike Napoli. A catcher who plays first base; neither very well, we're told. And he batted .227 last year.Read more: http://www.kjonline.com/sports/sox-have ... 12-08.html

This team is going to suck.
They are stupid if they tr ade Ellsbury.

They are stupid if they trade Ellsbury.
The Sox won't be able to sign him next off season, so why not get something for him ?

disagree. At any moment he might pull his vagina while waxing his bikini line and be out for 17 years. Now this team is full of guys that dont get on base, dont hit for a high average, and aside from an aging Papi and Pedi, there is noone to actually fear in this lineup. Oh not to mention that the pitching was horrendous last year and Cherington has yet to do anything about that. Im surprised he didnt bring in Jeremy Guthrie, because apparently im the only person i nthe universe that realizes.............HE SUCKS.Its ok, maybe we can get Jeff Francis maybe give up a top prospect for Aaron Harang.Get ready to be the 1990s Red Sucks all over again.
