Central Aroostook cheerleaders win 4th straight Class D state title; Lewiston collects ‘A’By Aislinn Sarnacki, BDN Staff BANGOR — The Central Aroostook Panthers took home the Class D cheerleading state championship crown for their fourth year in a row -– a record for their school -– Saturday at the Bangor Auditorium. And the Lewiston Blue Devils, the last to team to perform, won over the crowd with tumbling skills and difficult stunts, capturing the Class A crown. In Class D, the state champions of Mars Hill scored 111.1 points, while runner-up Deer Isle-Stonington scored 104.7 points.
