FREEPORT -- Rhys Nason's diving catch in the end zone of Brady Neujahr 1-yard pass with six seconds remaining gave Yarmouth a dramatic 14-8 win over Freeport in a Western Class C football game Saturday.
The win gave Yarmouth (2-6), the two-time defending state champion, the eighth and final spot in the regional playoffs and denied Freeport (4-4) its second straight trip to the playoffs.
