White resigns as Mountain Valley coach

Rick White has resigned as boys' basketball coach at Mountain Valley High School to pursue other opportunities, he said Tuesday.
White submitted his resignation and met with his seniors Monday to tell them of his decision, which came several weeks after another job opening became known to him.
"I'm still in the process so it's really tough to say anything," White said. "It's for personal reasons, professional and personal reasons. I have things in the fire that I'm looking at."
