WISCASSET -- The Hall-Dale High School boys soccer team fell behind by two goals in the first half and couldn't finish the rally, losing to St. Dominic 2-1 in the Mountain Valley Conference championship game on a wet field at Wiscasset High School Wednesday evening.
Hall-Dale made it a one-goal game when Zack McNaughton scored with 18 minutes, 22 seconds left in the second half.
"We did some good things," Hall-Dale coach Andy Haskell said. "We were pretty solid throughout the game. There were a couple of breakdowns. There were tough field conditions."
