PPH Girls' Soccer Notebook: Experience helps make Cheverus a contender

Girls' soccer may not be the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Cheverus High sports, but it certainly should be in the conversation this fall.
While the football team, riding a 26-game win streak, has won the last two Class A state championships, the girls' soccer team is looking to claim its first title in its 11th varsity season.
"If we can avoid injury and stay healthy, I'd like to think we'll be playing (for the state championship) on Nov. 3," Coach Dan LaVallee said.
