ORONO, Maine — The University of New Hampshire turned two University of Maine turnovers into touchdowns Saturday afternoon, helping pave the way for a 28-21 Colonial Athletic Association football victory at Alfond Stadium.
The 12th-ranked Wildcats staked the Black Bears to a two-touchdown lead, then scored 21 unanswered points in the second quarter to take the upper hand and get the win in the 100th meeting between the two programs.
