John Bapst spoils Mt. View's home opener

THORNDIKE -- It was the first football game on Mt. View's new field. No more bus trips to Belfast for a home game, no more bus trips to Larrabee Field, a few miles from the school in Knox.
With a new field, the Mustangs also have many new faces on the team. Mt. View graduated 14 players from last season's six-win team and that youth and inexperience was on full display Saturday afternoon. John Bapst High School scored seven touchdowns in the first half, on the way to a 61-6 Little Ten Conference win.
