TURNER — When the Leavitt field hockey team had a goal-scoring outburst recently, Meagan Dow couldn't help but notice one player that had not buried one that day.
Herself.
It might have been a little bit disconcerting at the time, but Saturday, Dow realized she'd saved her turn for just the right time.
The junior midfielder tucked in a loose ball with 1:02 left in the first overtime to finish off a 2-1 come-from-behind victory for Leavitt over Mt. View.
