AUBURN — Oxford Hills and Edward Little not only had to square off against each other in a football game Friday night, the teams also had to contend with another opponent — Mother Nature.
Torrential rains and strong winds made Walton Field a quagmire.
But with the score tied 6-6 with 3:55 remaining, Edward Little head coach Dave Sterling had quarterback Sean Ford run off to the right hash mark on the Oxford Hills 11-yard line for one reason — to let Cameron Cormier kick the ball.
