basketball_guy. He certainly is, he is Andrew's brother

If Matt goes to Maine directly out of high school he would be a freshmen and Andrew would be a senior at Maine. Just like when they were at Oxford Hills High School.

Even though Matt has been offered by UMaine I doubt he makes any decision until the coaching situation is decided after the season at UMaine.

The only way Walsh gets rehired is if Maine should win the AE conference championship in the tournament to get the schools first ever NCAA Big Dance appearance.

I think a Coaching change is going to be made soon or at least they are going to have someone
in mind soon enough as they still have to recruit for next season.

It has been a very long season....they are playing better to be sure...but I think the handwriting is
on the wall at this point.

CIM's BLOG: Sleep & Athletes on CoachBobWalsh'sBlog

Postby bcbc55 » Thu Jan 18, 2018 3:15 pm

Excellent article on Coachbobwalsh'sblog about Sleep and the importance of it to athletes and to anyone else for that matter at any age.

Go to coachbobwalsh.com if interested.

Maybe that is the problem with the Maine men's team they are not getting enough sleep.

basketball-guy: They were asleep tonight at times, leading 11-0 3 minutes into the game and then behind at the half 38-33 then go down by 21 in the second half 56-35 and then cut lead to 12only to go down by 21 again and lose by 18 86-68.

All Walsh did tonight was trying to referee as he sure wasn't doing much coaching. better decide if he is going to try to coach or try to ref you can't do both.

CIM's BLOG:Great Article on ND's coach Mike Brey

Postby bcbc55 » Sat Jan 20, 2018 3:21 pm

Another great article on coachbobwalsh's BLOG on Notre Dame head basketball coach Mike Brey.

Coach Walsh writes excellent articles of his own which I enjoy the most, but he also picks out really informative, interesting, timely, relative and helpful articles written by other sources and posts them.

This one on Mike Brey former Delaware coach now in his 17th year at ND is outstanding. Don't miss it. Just go to coachbobwalsh.com

Perhaps he should go into sportswriting after his days at Maine are over with...
