Interesting that Maine has the 4th toughest SOS behind Vermont, SB and UMBC which may serve Maine well when they start Conference play in their next game on Wednesday, January 3rd at Stonybrook.

Remember this season there is no 8th-9th play off game for the 8th spot.

Impressive that UMaine is ranked 18th in the country of the 349 D-1 women's teams in strength of schedule

The next highst SOS is Hartford's 157 which speaks very well for Maine in the America East Conference in the coming regular season conference play even though Maine has the 6th best won lost record of 5-6 in non-conference play in D-1 games and 7-6 overall with 2 wins over 2 non D-1 teams.

Notice both men and women conferences are both really ranked low overall the men 31 of 32 and the women 32 of 32 in Strength of Schedule which is very interesting and the men's conference is 27th ranked for team ranknigs and the women's conference is at 25 of 32 for team RPI rankings ans 32 of 32 in the SOS rankings which makes it the weakest conference in the country in SOS.
