‘Cats Finish Road Trip at Sacred Heart Wednesday (12 P.M.)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team closes out their final road trip of 2017 Wednesday afternoon at Sacred Heart University. The Wildcats are looking to bounce back from a tough overtime loss to the Boston College Eagles on Sunday, while the Pioneers are coming off a road loss at Siena.

THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

Seniors Kat Fogarty and Brittni Lai had 14 points each and classmate Olivia Healy added 13 as the Wildcats took Boston College of the Atlantic Coast Conference to overtime in their most recent game on Sunday. UNH fell, 64-55, in OT, dropping its record to 7-4. Healy and Fogarty each had eight rebounds against the Eagles.

The Wildcats have two non-conference games remaining on their schedule, including Sacred Heart. They take a break for Christmas after Wednesday's game at Sacred Heart. They then return home to Lundholm Gymnasium for their final non-conference game of the season, Friday, Dec. 29 against Cornell at 7 p.m.

Check out the neat story on @UNHHoops coach Maureen Magarity by @collegeinsider. Magarity's troops moved up 2 spots to No. 18 in this week's mid-major poll with just one non-conference game remaining - home against Cornell on Friday at 7. http://collegeinsider.com/brian-stancha ... e-daughter
