Well, I am flying in for Fenway, not for Fitzy.

Your time at Fenway will be a lot more enjoyable if we win at the Fitzy ;)
Any Fenway pregame destination spot yet?

Nothing pregame planned as of yet. Still working on hotel details at this point. I would like to get into the Cask and Flagon at some point though.

I follow UMaine football but I only go to 1 or 2 games a year because of the drive up there. With that being said I would rather watch a good rivalry HS football game than a UMaine game anyday. It's something about kids playing for their home town team and supporting home town communities. I wish UMaine games were closer and I would go to more games. I think UMaine will win in a close game 24-21.

GO! GO! UMO!

AB

Wow, 5,000 sold plus a good walkup crowd should fill the stands. With UMaine trying to bring all the other intangibles from a D1 football experience to Portland should make for a great day, i.e. band, cheerleaders, tailgating, replay board, beer garden- can't wait. :D
GO MAINE, beat the Blue Chix!!!

Why should we be surprised of the outcome.
We put a freshman in as a starting QB.
The passing game has been spotty at best and we have beaten nobody of significance.
We are naïve to think that a change would be made based on poor performance.
Nothing but excuses because the QB is a freshmen.
We have a QB with no fault insurance.
Disgusting situation for upperclassmen.

Sorry man, the QB didn't lose Maine this game. The game was lost when Wright was injured and fumbled that punt return for a UD TD. The defense was gassed in the 4th quarter as illustrated by that 9 minute drive to seal the win. Ferguson had a few drops by receivers at key moments, i.e. Marquisse Adams who was replacing Wright. Ferguson wasn't great, but outplayed a redshirt junior on Delaware.
Maine has young guys at several key spots: MLB, QB, RB, CB.... a lot of talent, but like the coaching staff, young. Coach H is a great motivator and planner, but not speaking with the media and not allowing his players to be available is an amateur move. He is better than that.
