Maine men's hockey adds Canadian prospect Morrissey

ORONO - The freshmen brought life into the University of Maine men's hockey program last year, with several pieces showing major signs of promise headed into 2017. The Black Bears continued to look towards the future Monday, adding a highly-touted prospect via verbal commitment.

Hockey Commitments reported 16-year-old Brad Morrissey committed to join the UMaine program during the 2019-2020 season. The forward has played across multiple levels of Canadian hockey, including the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League this past season. In 37 games for the Notre Dame Hounds Midget AAA squad, he scored 16 goals and added 14 assists in 37 points. The previous season, he scored 21 goals on 14 assists for the Notre Dame Hounds Bantam AAA team.

To the shock of nobody..... I truly can't remember the last time I literally wasn't fired up about a hockey season. I have nothing to point to that makes me believe they won't live " down" to this ranking. Someone tell me I am wrong.
