"duke11": Thanks very much. You have great connections. I believe he is a walkon so he will be immediatelty eligible to play this coming season. I believe that is the rule for walkons. It's the scholarship players that have to sit out a year when they transfer to another D-1 school.
So both Myers and Bernstein have defintelty moved up the rankings from UMaine's, Myers to a national contender and final four participant last year and Kent State plays in a good conference stronger than American East. Too bad he didn't land a scholarship at Kent State.
Of all the players who have transferred out from UMaine Men's program the past two seasons most of them have moved up considerably in the 351 team RPI rankings.
Let's see: Little to Colorado State and then to Tennesses-Martin, Vann to VCU, Eke to Rider, Harewood to a Juco and now to a D-1 school in South Carolina and a King to a D-2 school in New York after the 20i6 season.
in 2017 Myers to USC, Bernstein to Kent State, Pirovic to a top Canadian team, Can't remember where Howard and McKennon went, but they went to D-1 schools ranked higher than Maine If I remember correctly.
Interesting that so many of the transfers moved up in team RPI's and Conference RPI's higher than Maine and the America east Conference. So someone thinks that they are good enough to play at the schools that they transferred to.
