SCARBOROUGH LAUNCHES NEW CITIZEN ONLINE REPORTING TOOL

The Town of Scarborough is pleased to announce the launch of its new mobile reporting tool, Scarborough Fix-It! Powered by SeeClickFix, Scarborough Fix-It allows residents to report and track non-emergency issues directly to and through Town departments.

To start, citizens may search for Scarborough Fix-It in the Apple App Store® for iPhones® or the Google Play Store® for Androids devices®, then download the free, customized application. Through this app, users are able to submit requests and reports for a variety of different issues including graffiti, litter, noise, parking, potholes, street signs, beach issues, tree maintenance, and much more. Users may also add a picture or video to the request as well as specific descriptions and pin a geographic location.

This should be interesting....does the Town of Scarborough have the resources to deal with every Tom, Dick & Harry that thinks his petty issue is more important than his neighbor's petty issue? Sounds like an impetus for even more government intrusion into people's lives......
