COLBY WOMEN'S SQUASH WINS, MAKES EPPS CUP FINAL

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The 25th-ranked Colby College women's squash team is one win away from winning the Epps Cup (D Divison) after an 8-1 win over 29th-ranked Mount Holyoke on Saturday at the National Team Championships.

The Mules (12-15) will take on 26th-ranked Hamilton College in the final on Sunday at 10 a.m. The Epps Cup is for teams ranked 25 to 32.

Devin Mullaney won her 37th career match with a 3-0 win at the first position. Caroline Pelham, a winner at the sixth spot, won her 45th match. Lily Wain has 38 victories in two years after winning at the seventh position.

Julianna Song, Olivia Silverman, Cricket di Galoma, Ren Robinson, and Elise O'Brien also had wins for Colby.

COLBY'S GROSS LOSES OPENING MATCH AT NATIONAL TOURNEY

HANOVER, N.H. -- Colby College's Elliot Gross fell 3-0 to University of Rochester's Tomotaka Endo in the opening round of Molloy West play at the College Squash Association National Individual Championships on Friday at Dartmouth College.

Gross, the third position player for the Mules this season, fell 11-6, 11-3, 11-8.

Gross will play in a consolation quarterfinal match against Yale University's Thomas Kingshott on Saturday at 10:40 a.m.

COLBY: MOLANI ADVANCES AT INDIVIDUAL SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS

HANOVER, N.H. -- Colby College's Madiha Molani advanced to the quarterfinals of the Holleran West after Harvard University's Sophie Mehta was forced to default at the College Squash Association National Individual Championships on Friday at Dartmouth College.

Molani will take on Drexel University's Ryan Morgan in a quarterfinal match at 3 p.m. Saturday. Morgan, the first position player for Drexel, took a straight set win over Middlebury College's Anne Glassie in her opening round match.

Molani improved to 14-10 on the season in her first season with the Mules

COLBY: GROSS DROPS SECOND MATCH AT SQUASH TOURNEY

HANOVER, N.H. -- Colby College's Elliot Gross dropped his second match at the College Squash Association National Individual Championships with a 3-0 loss to Yale University's Thomas Kingshott on Saturday.

Gross fell 11-7, 11-8, 11-6 in a consolation quarterfinal match.

Gross lost 3-0 to University of Rochester's Tomotaka Endo in the opening round of Molloy West play on Friday at Dartmouth College. Gross, the third position player for the Mules this season, fell 11-6, 11-3, 11-8.

COLBY: MOLANI FALLS IN MATCH AT INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

HANOVER, N.H. -- Colby College's Madiha Molani fell 3-0 in quarterfinal round play in Holleran West action at the College Squash Association National Individual Championships on Saturday at Dartmouth College.

Molani, playing against Drexel first position player Ryan Morgan, lost 11-5, 11-4, 11-3. Molani had won her opening round match in a default on Friday.

Molani finished her first season at Colby at 14-11 overall while playing the first and second positions.
