Postby MattyB » Thu Dec 27, 2018 7:28 am

Fort Kent's Sarah Mulcahy has 14 months to think about the US Olympic Marathon trials in Atlanta. The Eagle Lake native met the qualifying standard of 2 hours and 45 minutes at the California Marathon on December 2nd.
Mulcahy a Math Teacher at Fort Kent High School didn't run in High School and started running in College in 2003 and 2004.

(Sarah Mulcahy):" The first time I actually went I said this is terrible. I can't believe people actually do this. Once I got past that this is terrible and I got past the first mile and the first mile led to two miles and then three miles. I was like this is enjoyable I am in my own head I have no other worries."
