York finally pulls away from Hawks

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine – Over and over, guys like Jack Rohrer, Tucker Fegan and Sam Sinclair cycled the ball around, leading to the inevitable scoring opportunities, many of which produced goals.

The Marshwood High School boys lacrosse team kept pace with explosive York for the better part of a half Saturday. But it couldn’t forever.

After opening the season with three straight losses, York won its fourth game in a row. Rohrer scored six goals and Fegan added five as the Class B Wildcats (4-3) pulled away from Class A Marshwood after halftime, 22-10.
