Brunswick moves to Class B

Postby BigRube33 » Mon Feb 12, 2018 7:46 am

A lot of chatter throughout FB with the official announcement of Brunswick moving down to Class B this season. Just when I thought Class A was going to be really interesting with Cape and Falmouth playing up (FINALLY!). Bummed that the Dragons made this move. They should have a easy run in the playoffs to their eventual match-up with Yarmouth.

Just found a note that I thought was interesting.

Please ... Underestimate us.
Please ... Do not train for us.
Please ... Do not consider us a threat.
Please.... Overlook us.

Lacrosse went through reclassification before the 2018 season.
In the first go around by the lacrosse committee Brunswick petitioned to move up to Class A. Falmouth and Cape Elizabeth did not petition to move up during this initial process.

Later, when Falmouth and Cape Elizabeth petitioned to move up to Class A, Brunswick withdrew their petition and dropped to Class B.

Salty Yamouth fan!?
When the going gets tough... keep a 4 point lead instead of blowing it to Brunswick

Just remember that all that money can’t buy you talent or hard work. Good lesson for the boys right there
