The Hot Corner: Demise of 'Patriot Way' hardly news

I've read and heard volumes this past week proclaiming the death of the "Patriot Way."

Unless that's the name of the street in North Attleborough where the Massachusetts State Police have kept a day-and-night vigil, such analysis is pitifully laughable.

Those two words are a preachy sports cliche that has achieved the same level of ubiquity as "student athlete." I'd argue that it is even more devoid of meaning.
