Mankins glad to be practicing again after ACL Surgery

Postby MattyB » Mon Aug 13, 2012 3:57 am

Jeff Howe, FOXBORO — Patriots left guard Logan Mankins almost seemed insulted at the notion that he could have been more careful last season with his injured right knee.

Of course, Mankins’ toughness ranks up there with the nastiest of them, so that shouldn’t be surprising. Mankins debuted at practice yesterday, roughly six months after he had surgery to repair a torn ACL, and he said it felt good to take that big step in recovery after the first significant injury of his career.
