Portland, Maine - Bobby Dalbec hit his first two Double-A home runs - including a 451-foot blast to center field - and the Sea Dogs (46-65) won the series finale over the Richmond Flying Squirrels (53-58) 7-3 in front of a sellout crowd at Hadlock Field on Sunday afternoon.

Playing in his second career Double-A game, Dalbec hit a two-run homer off of Logan Webb to tie the ballgame 2-2 in the third inning. Then in the seventh, Dalbec clocked a 451-foot bomb to straightaway center off of Ryan Halstead to pad the Portland lead at 6-3. Dalbec also walked twice to reach base four times.

Teddy Stankiewicz (W, 7-9) worked his fifth straight start going seven innings or more. The righty from Texas allowed three runs on six hits in seven innings, he walked one and struck out six.

Richmond had jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on solo homers by Dylan Davis and CJ Hinojosa off of Stankiewicz before Dalbec tied the game in the third.

The Squirrels took the lead back in the fourth on a wall-ball double off the Maine Monster by Caleb Gindl to score Ryan Howard.

Portland tied the game 3-3 in the fifth on a two-out RBI single by Luke Tendler off of Webb. Danny Mars gave the 'Dogs their first lead of the game with an RBI double off to Garrett Williams (L, 3-8) to score Jhon Nunez. Deiner Lopez then scored on a wild pitch to make it 5-3 Portland.

Webb made his Double-A debut in the start for Richmond and allowed three runs on six hits in five innings. He walked three and fanned four.

Dalbec, Jeremy Rivera, and Tendler each had two hits for the Sea Dogs, who compiled 10 hits in the ballgame.

Trey Ball worked a scoreless eighth and allowed just a bunt single, Josh Taylor finished the game and stranded two runners in a scoreless ninth.

The Sea Dogs are off on Monday and open up a six-game roadtrip against the Erie SeaWolves (Tigers affiliate) on Tuesday night from UPMC Park. Radio coverage with Mike Antonellis begins at 6:50 PM on the U.S. Cellular Sea Dogs Radio Network. MiLB.TV starts at 7:00 PM.
