RED SOX NOTES (34-32)



THE RED SOX are 28-19 (.596) following a 6-13 start...Fell to 10-2 in their last 12 series finales and 12-3 in their last 15.

· Surrendered as many as 4 HR for the 4th time this season (previous: 4/5 at ARI)...Was the Red Sox 1st time doing so at Fenway Park since 9/28/18 vs. NYY (4 HR).



JACKIE BRADLEY JR. (2-for-4, 2B) is 19-for-64 (.297) with 12 XBH and a 1.041 OPS in 20 games beginning 5/20 (12 R, 11 RBI, 7 2B, 5 HR).

· Has a .371 OBP in 26 games beginning 5/10 (22-for-83, 4 HBP, 10 BB).



MARCO HERNÁNDEZ (2-for-4, RBI) hit an RBI single in the 2nd following a 2-run 2B last night...Marks his first career pair of consecutive games with at least 1 RBI.

SAM TRAVIS (1-for-4, R) recorded the 1st OF assist of his ML career, throwing out Tommy Pham at 2nd base following Pham's single off the Green Monster.



MOOKIE BETTS (1-for-5) has reached base safely in 41 of his last 46 games (.411 OBP).



SANDY LEÓN (2-for-4) singled twice and is batting .429 (6-for-14) in 5 games beginning 6/1.

RAYS NOTES (40-24)



THE RAYS reached 40 wins within their first 64 games for the 2nd time in franchise history (also 2010, 40-22).

· Improved to 14-4-3 in series play and 8-1-2 on the road...Owns the highest road winning percentage in the majors (.697, 23-10).

· Rays starters posted a 0.78 ERA (2 ER/23.0 IP) this series...The Rays' entire staff has allowed 10 R in their last 6 games, compared to 29 R in their previous 4.

· Have hit 35 HR in 22 games beginning 5/18...Are 17-6 when hitting multiple HR this season, including 10-3 when doing so on the road.
