Ninth-inning home run lifts Sea Dogs past Fisher Cats

PORTLAND, Maine — Nate Freiman drilled a walk-off three-run homer over the Maine Monster as the Portland Sea Dogs outlasted the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 10-7 in front of a sellout crowd at Hadlock Field on Wednesday night.

With the game tied 7-7 in the bottom of the ninth, Tzu-Wei Lin led off with a single off Brady Dragmire. After a sacrifice bunt by Mauricio Dubon, Aneury Tavarez singled before Freiman homered to end the game.

The home run was Freiman’s 10th of the season, and he finished the game 2-for-3 with a home run, double, four RBIs, two walks and two runs score
