Reese Farrell drafted by Moncton

Auburn native Reese Farrell heard his name called by the Moncton Wildcats in Saturday's Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's entry draft held in Saint John, New Brunswick.

The 16-year-old forward, who played at North Yarmouth Academy this past season, was the first selection of the 13th round by Moncton, which finished last in the QMJHL this past season. With the Panthers this past season, Farrell had 13 goals and five assists in 26 games.

In 2015-16, he played with St. Dom's, where he had 10 goals and 25 assists in 18 games.
