Rancourt, Toussaint tabbed Travis Roy Award semifinalists

... Rancourt led the defending Class A state champion Blue Devils with 44 points (18 goals, 26 assists) — equaling the total of junior captain Joe Bisson — and has captained Lewiston to another state final this season. Rancourt is looking to become Lewiston's third Travis Roy Award winner.

Toussaint helped lead a young Saints team to the Class A North semifinals, pacing St. Dom's in goals (15) and points (23), and was tied for the team lead with eight assists. Toussaint would be the Saints' fourth winner of the award.

Fournier is the lone goalie on the list after compiling a 1.74 goals against average and .922 save percentage for his career, including 10 shutouts. Fournier would be Bangor's second award winner.

Lewiston's Rancourt among four Travis Roy Award finalists

..."It's an honor, honestly," Rancourt said. "Having this prestigious award and being able to be alongside some of the three best hockey players in the state, it's pretty awesome.

"That was one of my dreams growing up and goals this year, to hopefully be a finalist, or just be nominated, honestly. It's incredible."

Rancourt was tied for the team lead in points during the regular season, tallying 44 on 18 goals a team-leading 26 assists. He added a goal and five assists during Lewiston's three-game run to a second consecutive state championship.

Have to think that the award should go to Fournier. Not sure what the other factors (grades, community service, etc.) go into deciding the winner, but he has been the best player on the ice for Bangor since he was a freshman.

Vanguard, Not sure what your motivation is to make a statement like that about one of the most respected players in the state, but you definitely have your facts wrong. Robbie Armitage is one of the least penalized players in the league with 6 penalties this season and a total of 4 last season. Your comment is very misguided and uncalled for.
Congrats to all 4 finalist.

You are clearly confused and know nothing about either of these kids. A simple apology would suffice.

This vanguard character should really have his account blocked or deleted. For a 53 year-old, who most likely still lives with his mother in her double wide trailer, to rip into a respectable hockey player is just downright disgraceful. Vanguard I think you should focus more on flipping burgers at McDonalds then high school hockey. Armitage, who will be playing D1 baseball next year, has already accomplished more in life then you ever will.

Have a great day.

P.S.
If you keep this up I'll shoot in your trailer.

Well it's not hard to figure out who wrote this. Apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the "nearmitage" tree. I'm happy take the comment down but I think your threats below are much worse then anything I said. Looks like you joined today when you where in study hall, it won't be hard to trace your IP address back to FHS.
