I don't think 34 straight is the record. I believe Marshwood won 50 something in the 80's, also Orono HS had a longer streak.

This was a quote from an article in 2001 from the York County Coast Star. I believe they were undefeated the whole season until the conference final, so another 9 or 10 games.

TA scores 2 unanswered touchdowns after trailing 13-7 at half in Sanford to take the win by a score of 27-14.

They let the clock run out at the four yard line after Sanford showed a lot of guys stopping three power runs.

Tonight at Griffin Field home of the Spruce Mountain Phoenix, Spruce mountain faced off with Poland. end of half score was 14-21 ~ Poland leading. Poland scored to make the score 27-14 and the extra point got blocked, phoenix strikes back with a touchdown and gets the two point to make the score 22-27, Poland drive stalls out they punt. Spruce Mountain drove down and scored once more and got another 2 point conv to mak rthe score 30-27 Poland recovers a fumble later on by the phoenix they take over and score, two drives later Phoenix with the score 35-30 Poland, SMHS scored with about 1 minute to go in the game 36-35 SMHS regains the lead. Poland's quarterback gets an intentional grounding penalty in the endzone resulting in a safety, ultimately ending the game 38-35 Phoenix starts off 1-0 while Poland falls to 0-1.
