3,000 yards passing and 39 TD passes and not all-state?

I hate skowhegan but Christopher has to be the all state QB

Do not take stock in what any Newspaper has for an All-Conference Team...many of those guys rely on the words of a few coaches who take the time to talk to them. Any conversation of an All-State Team or any major Award usually comes to a screeching halt around the Brunswick-Topsham line. Notice where the vast majority of players are from....it is my assumption that the Head Coach at Ellsworth never saw any of these guys play as an example nor has any one from the Press Herald

Every year somebody cries and whines about someone being left off.

Sorry, thought this was a board to debate sports. Didn’t realize I couldn’t mentioned a kid getting slighted.

It is.........My point is every year some players are left off that should be on the list. Nothing against you it just happens every year.

I understand that Christopher had a good year, but I have seen pretty much every top level QB in Maine play this year, including him, and Zoltan Panyi is by far the best in Maine. It is not all about statistics.

He's not going anywhere. The people who voted for All-state are all from the Portland area. The only reason that any of the Northern Maine kids got in this year is because they played in front of "those" voters. Many of them in the state championships.

Not trying to start anything. It is just a shame that it is what it is.
