Windjammers realize success in Class E, including homecoming win over Maranacook

ROCKPORT — The Camden Hills football team is in rebuilding mode, but while the Windjammers regroup, learn and continue steady improvement, they continue to find ways to be successful, as was evident in a 30-18 homecoming victory over Maranacook on Friday night, Oct. 6 under the lights in front of a large, joyous crowd at Don Palmer Field.

The Windjammers have won several games this fall as they toil in the Maine Principals' Association Class E, a first-year developmental region for high school football programs that are starting or starting over.

The Windjammers, coached by Jeremy Marks, include juniors Isacc Luce, Sam Hebert, Spencer Johndro, Connor Hedstrom, Coleman Haskell, Ethan Cayouette; sophomores Aiden Kehoe, Jacob Knowlton, Benjamin MacWilliams, Braden Moulton, Brady Hedstrom, Isaac Bartlett, Noah Deabler; and freshmen Dylan Hastings, Jordan Durkee, Benjamin Craft, Nathanial Bartlett, Aidan Schecter, Augustin Schobert and William Thorn.
