Bonny Eagle up 27-14 at half. TA punted he ball away after a bad offensive series with 1:40 to go and BE made them pay.

TA has to get on track and score when they get the ball after half or else it could get out of hand.

BE’s offense is doing as they please pretty much and TA looks predictable and unwilling to throw after a couple early errant throws.

We shall see, but BE doesn’t look like they’re letting up anytime soon.

They’re just that good. BE stops TA twice and just keeps scoring running the ball.
41-14 with 2:59 to go in the third.

WOW

Bonny Eagle leaves no doubt in battle of unbeatens
The Scots roll in the second half to a 49-14 win at Thornton Academy.

Connor Sirois threw three touchdown passes including second-quarter strikes to Kordell Menard and Arlo Pike, the second coming with 19.8 seconds left in the half to put defending state champ Bonny Eagle (5-0) ahead 27-14.

Thornton is now 4-1. A crowd of 1,889 attended the game.

BE is certainly the best team in the state today with that statement win. Going to be tough to beat come playoff time. TA will bounce back and learn from today. Scarborough and Scots meet up week 8 for next marquee matchup.

Wow! I stand corrected. I precited close game. BE is a different level. Solid all around and playing with a goal. Well done.

I agree, BBOC, they just looked unreal today. TA could have done things to make it closer, but not much closer. Mitchell struggled, the line got worn down by game’s end, and BE just pounded them offensively.

The key moment of the game was when TA was down five and had a third and five late in the second quarter. Instead of attacking, they ran the same vanilla QB keep and got stuffed. After that, they punted and made a couple mistakes on defense and BE scored to go up even more before half. TA came out of half needing a score, they didn’t get it, and that was the game after a BE drive and TD.
