Falmouth seems to be peaking at the right time. Got a hunch they could be a tougher out for Kennebunk this time around....

No major shakeups other than Biddeford falling out of the top 10. Moved Madison into that 10th spot as their only loss is to #7 Wells. Greely getting more love as well with their shutout win. Cape was the tough to leave out as their only losses are to #7 and #9...but they do have 2 losses compared to Madison's one loss.

I'd like to see a Wells vs. Falmouth game to let me know who is actually better! I'm sticking with Falmouth as they have only struggled with two top 5 teams this year.

Very good top 10!

When Marshwood played Kennebunk all the talk was about "home field next time".
I felt then avoiding Falmouth this round was a larger prize.

I would say the Marshwood Kennebunk game winner got two bonuses. Playing at home for the playoffs and not playing Falmouth. Greely does not match up with Marshwood and Falmouth can move the ball against anyone. Still not sure that Falmouth can beat Marshwood or Kennebunk, though. Should be one of the better games of the weekend.

Falmouth is playing well right now but not sure they have enough to beat the Rams. It should be a better game than early September. This time of year the semi final should be a good game. I also hear that Jake Littlefield has been practicing and should be cleared to go. Not sure how Greely held Biddeford to 2 first downs the entire game last week . Do they have enough in the tank to slow the Hawks down? We shall see.

SJ weekend Blitz and Sun Journal Top 10: Final Four set to do battle in each class

Sun Journal Top 10

1. Scarborough (7-1)
Red Storm have been getting every week since suffering only loss in Week 3, which raises the question of whether the quarterfinal bye will curb any of their momentum.

2. Bonny Eagle (8-1)
Scots rebounded from loss to Scarborough with 61-20 quarterfinal win over Deering, but Thornton Academy presents a much more formidable measure of how far they’ve bounced back.

3. Thornton Academy (8-1)
If Golden Trojans can get by Bonny Eagle, they may have another grudge match waiting for them in Scarborough, which upset them last year.

4. Marshwood (9-0)
A semifinal showdown with Kennebunk seems more inevitable as you getting your electricity back.

5. Kennebunk (8-1)
Potent Falmouth offense should be a good test for Rams’ stingy defense.

6. Edward Little (7-1)
Red Eddies are still the favorite in A North, but the road to their first trip to Fitzpatrick Stadium in 15 years isn’t paved yet.

7. Falmouth (7-2)
Much-maligned defense has allowed 6, 0 and 8 points in last three weeks.

8. MDI (8-1)
Trojans haven’t played a road game in nearly a month. They hope they still have one left in Orono.

9. Skowhegan (5-3)
No doubt Indians took note that the B North playoffs have not been very kind to favorites so far.

10. Wells (9-0)
Warriors keep rolling, and likely won’t let up for first playoff meeting with Mountain Valley since 2011 Class B regional championship.

Marshwood hasn't lost. Must be a misprint.
