Based on the seeds, don't be surprised to see a 5 Narraguagas 6 Calais NMF.

I think people may be overlooking PVHS...take a look at the schedule they play and the wins they have.

Not going rank southern teams. But heading to Bangor I'd rate northern teams as-
1. Dexter- maybe giving them too much credit for last year, but even this year they are more battle tested then Calais. Have heard they can have trouble scoring at times.
2. Calais- my number 2 but understand the argument for rating them #1. Narr did kind of prove my point on them. Cook had a cold shooting nite and they struggled. Narr filled the paint up well slowing down other players and 3 ball wasn't falling.
3. Pvhs- may have them high just based on this year, but tourney is where players like Ireland can shine. As a knock on them I did see a game of theirs with Stearns. Pvhs- struggled really bad when they forced the ball out of Ireland's hands. Tons of unforced turnovers.
4. Narragagus- scrapy team. Not sure I'm sold on them based on schedule, but you have to give credit for beating Calais.
5. Houlton- young but talented team. Lack of experience hurt but they have some now. Houlton coach has as much tourney experience as anyone. Team is pretty close to healthy after tough year that way.
6. Stearns- if I'm rating teams they would be up here for me. Only issue is that with the heals seeding I don't think they make Bangor. They probably have the best guard tandem but don't seem as deep after that.
7. Central Arostook- good team, pretty well rounded. May not have best player on floor in most games but has solid players all the way around. They will be tough out in Bangor. They just aren't a 1 seed.
8. Madawaska- similar to PVHS, they have a nice post player. Not sure the rest of team can get ball to her against tough teams.

More like a hostile takeover is what it was.
