Sjoberg Preps for Elk's National Free throw Championship

... Sjoberg:''Last year I can't even explain how much I like it. It was a lot different than Presque Isle a lot bigger, but the people were still nice their and it was a nice city."

Sjoberg is still spending a lot of time in the gym shooting foul shots. She has been on a roll in the last couple of weeks and set a new personal record for the number of foul shots made consecutively

Sjoberg:" I think a couple of weeks ago I got 49 in a row. which is my record and i was pretty mad I didn't get 50 and the yesterday I made 37 in a row."

This is her second straight appearance in the Nationals. Last year she made 21 out of 25 and finished fifth in the 10-11 year old group. She has moved up an age group this year and she know the competition will be very tough, but she thinks that being there last year will give her a little advantage.
