Marshwood/Fryeburg might be a game. York/Brunswick should be best game of bracket. This is a weak conference. Greely/Brunswick & Greely comes out of the South. I have seen Greely now 4 times. Twice they have not played with a sense of urgency or physical commitment. Yet till get their 60. GNG ran out of gas, but their style was clearly a challenge for Greely. Brunswick may be able to replicate and pull the only plausible upset from this vantage point.

Messa posts keep bring up the theme of how hard they play. Relentless. Unless Train finds her former offensive output, Anna may not have enough support to get by a more rounded team.

North
Prelim
Gardiner beats Brewer
Oceanside beats Waterville (Hard to beat a team 3 times)
Skowhegan beats Oceanside
C Hills Beats Nokomis
Skowhegan Beats C Hills
Lawrence Beats Hampden
Messo Beats Gardiner
Messo Beats Gardiner

Messo Wins it all in the North (Although an upset would be great!)
No idea on the South but I'm guessing Greely?
North takes the title

Last year Marshwood tried slowdown tactic in Qtr. game vs Greely. Worked for 16 minutes. 32-5 third quarter ended that charade. But, Greely had to come out of zone, play man and overplay. Hmmm. Look for possible sightings at Dean Smith's museum at NC. Bold orange or purple sweatshirts might suggest something upta here in Maine.

Brunswick beat Kennebunk in double overtime during the regular season. That may be a better game than the numbers for the tournament indicates.
