So does that mean that it is either Andrew Morong or Mike Hart? Tough to pass on a guy with 20 years of experience in the system... Leads one to believe it has to be Hart, who has at least had a measure of success as a head coach in Western B.

When will that be made official?

All 3 gentlemen are fine coaches.

However, this is tough situation for the in-house guy. You would LIKE to believe that giving 20 years means something. At firsy glance it would appear to be a slap in the face, but we are likely dont privvy to everything that is discussed in the interviews. Could be that one of the other 2 candidates cleary expressed his philosophy, and that the program that they want to run may well be better for both the short and long term development of the program.

While I am sure it is hard to see a dedicated coach leave a program esp after so many years, Mike Hart will do a great job with the Morse program. He's a sound coach in a sound organization. I wish Morse and Mike Hart the best for successful seasons.

I don't see a problem in contacting coaches and asking them to apply.

Both Wil and Mike are great people and coaches. For some reason Morse wanted Mike and went after him. Doesn't mean they don't like Wil, they just like Mike better.

Morse91. Hmmm, didn't Coach Laffeley's daughter graduate from Morse in 1991?

Maybe the new philosophy that someone mentioned above can be defence, I am glad to see some fresh blood in the system. I have watched almost every home game of the morse girls for years now. And year in and year out I have witnessed girls pick up dumb fouls and have to sit the bench becuase of lack of coaching on the defensive side of the ball. Maybe the asst coach was passed over becuase people think of him as more of the same. I was dissappointed when I heard that after considering the job that Sam Hayes turned it done. I wish the new coach the best of luck. He has a fine young team to work with with, some talent still remains on the team aswell as in the system. Congrads to the new coach.
