New Calais Coach

Long time Calais Assistant Girl's Basketball Coach Dana Redding will be spproved by the Calais School Committee on Tuesday Night. Dana takes over for the legendary Bob McShane. Coach Redding follows a basketball icon, however, I have the utmost confidence that he will do a fine job and that the program will remain at the same level it has been accustomed to.

Good Luck Coach and Good luck again to Coach McShane!

Mr.Redding would have been my choice. In my dealings with him,he has always been very professional and friendly,to go along with his smooth running of the JV program. Calais,IMO,is in very capable hands.Congrats to Mr.Redding on the hire and Good Luck to the future endeavors of Mr.McShane.

Probably the best hire possible to follow in the steps of Bob, I got to know Dana while I was coaching at Guagus. A very good coach and an even better human being. Best of luck to Dana and the Calais Lady Blue Devils this season!!

Best of luck to Coach Redding; I to think he will do a fine job.
While I was at WA, Coach McShane was one of my best coaching friends and Coach Redding was always professional but friendly, and helpful to my teams and to me.
One of the joys of coach is the friendships developed with quality people like these two. Best of luck to both.
