Congratulations to Coach Liburd and his 14u mbr girls on winning the AAU state championship! We were looking forward to another game with you guys and it just wasn't meant to be. I'd also like to Congratulate the Hoops team on a game well played....you guys did a fantastic job against us of not letting the run and jump press materialize. Also, thanks goes out to Howards Sports Center for a nice job of hosting the tournament.....Many kids appeared to be having a great time! Although we fell a victory short of our goal, we finished our in state season at 26-1 and will conclude our season at the Jam Fest on May 10 and 11th. I am very proud of you girls on the Starzz....you are a great bunch!

She is no longer playing with this team. Not sure why, A guess would be travel. This is a state wide team that travels a lot. Most practices are held from Waterville South. That's a lot of traveling from Columbia Falls with nobody to car pool with.

My work schedule got to be to much of a conflict for us to get Mackenzie to practices and games. I felt it wasn't fair to the other girls who are working so hard. This is a great bunch of young ladies and even in the limited time she was with them Mackenzie learned and grew as a player. She is disappointed and hopefully she will be asked next year and I can work things out better. Thank you girls for treating Mackenzie as an equal, she misses you. Thank you Coach Liburg for believing in Mackenzie and giving a downeast girl the opportunity to play with some of the top talent in the State.

She is a very good player and young lady and my daughter loves playing with her when ever she can! It's to bad that the chance to play is so far away from us downeast but that is just the way it is i guess.
