Bangor High School

After looking at the last couple of games for teams in North Class AA; it appears that Coach Carl Parker's Rams could, with wins in their last two games, move all the way to 2nd place! Of course getting a home playoff with at least one win is of most importance.
Good luck to Coach Parker and his Rams.
Always enjoyed my conversations with Carl. First met him while I was coaching at WA and he had traveled Downeast to see our Raiders play a big home game with the Calais Blue Devils. Some other MBR posters came; Geezil was one I believe; they saw a great game which we won.
Coach Parker has always produced teams that are tough, smart, and compete at max effort.
Rooting for the Rams this week!

.......Frank, that was a great nite. Some unknown (to us) had over 30 points and had a great game. As WIZ rated the players at that time, we rode him hard about his rankings and why some UN (ranked) person was missing on his lists. I recall it snowed and we all had some long drives after the game. PS--Someone parked over the school septic system (without going thru).

It seems to have worked out for Nokomis pretty nicely as well.

I am not sure how this fits in to the topic but you are absolutely correct Coach Martin has done a great job and I am happy for him and his team.

Carl,
Not sure if that is a hater comment or praise for the work you did in Newport?
Oh well...keep on keeping on!

I’d say a hater comment.

So I have been looking at the rosters of teams that made the Northern Maine Tourney. Started with Class AA.
Wow, Bangor H.S. have NO seniors according to the posted roster on MPA site.
The Rams have to be the favorite looking ahead to 2018-19.
