Class B is Hermon's to lose. They have 2 players ranked in the top 15 of the NERR, no other public high school in the state has more then 1!! That does not even count the sophomore from Glenburn who is also a really good player. The only problem for the Hawks will be if everyone holds suit, and they have to play MDI in the northern Maine finals. Coach Norwood always has his kids play hard, and they are the defending state champs. Last year they won it all out of the 2 hole also. Should be fun!!! Always hard going into tourney week as the #1 seed(and undefeated!!!)

eastofthecheesehouse: Yeah real tough. experienced that twice as a coach and we were lucky to win it all and go 22-0. A lot of pressure, if you win most everybody says so what you had the best team you should have won. If you lose many ask what to heck happened you should have won you had the best team?

When we won the state games at 2 different schools it was more a sense of relief then it was joy. A lot of pressure when you go in number 1 and undefeated.

Two teams I was lucky to have was Orono in 1969 and John Bapst 1993 both Class B state champs at 22-0.
