Blue Wave Basketball @BlueWaveBBall
Blue Wave trio Cam Lovejoy @Clovejoy14 (19pts) Max Murray (10pts) & Kyle Pasieniuk (13pts) combine for 42pts in a win over York! @MBRmaine

Kennebunk Rams 67, York Wildcats 54: York’s win streak snapped at 6 games
...“There is disappointment and we’re frustrated, but I am pleased with how we’ve started,” Marquis said. “If you told me we would start with six wins in our first seven games, I’d certainly take it. We’re going to use this an opportunity to grow and hopefully get better.”

Junior Cam Lovejoy led a quartet of Kennebunk players in double figures with 19 points, including hitting on four of his eight 3-point attempts.

“Cam is a fantastic shooter and when he had open looks he was able to hit them,” Kennebunk coach Barrett Belanger said. “He started to get to the basket when they came out on him. We shot really well tonight, and we talked about working harder to get loose balls and working hard to get second chance points.”

Kennebunk, with its fifth straight win, improved to 5-2 on the season, while York is 6-1.

“This is a huge win for us,” Belanger said. “This was worth a lot of (Heal) points. We knew it was an early big game for us. We just keep getting better and we’re starting to hit our stride right now; we’re excited.”
