Hampden hangs on to beat Cheverus 67-63

...The Broncos staved off a late game comeback from the Stags to win 67-63.

You know I really thought fatigue was a big factor today, we're not in good shape yet. It was the second day of the game, their first. So I think consequently fatigue caused a few turnovers and I though we were a little soft with the ball. Fixable problems as we go down the road," Hampden head coach Russ Bartlett said.

Loaded senior class primed to lead Hampden to new heights

...Mcintyre is one of five seniors returning for the broncos this season, a team that’s season has ended prematurely two years in a row.

“You know it happened sophomore year and then junior year we lost in the first round. Early exit you know really broke our hearts but it drove us," McIntyre said.

One player who was particularly driven to get better this offseason was senior Tommy Raye who improved his fundamentals, but more importantly his physical makeup.
