Coaches Honor Roll

Looking at the Coaches Honor Roll on the MABC1 site, I have noticed some missing names from their list. The names missing are older gentlemen that should be mentioned in the list. They are Doug Harrington (Bridgewater), Bud Porter (Central Aroostook) and Ken Clark (Fort Fairfield). All three of these gentlemen accumulated over 100 wins in their career.

The site has a form to make out to nominate people but it stipulates they must be current/ active (which I know many on the list were not) and must be nominated by a current Principal or Athletic Director. This is kind of silly as a lot of these records can be looked up by almost anyone and in Harringtons' case the school is now defunct.

Here are the stipulations as found on the site.

Coaches are eligible for the MABC Coaches’ Honor Roll when they have
achieved 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, or more incrementally by 100’s

1. Victories must be in MPA regular season or MPA tournament

2. Victories may be for coaching at multiple Maine high schools.

3. Coach must be actively coaching during the season of

The Honor Roll contains many names that haven't coached since the 70's and before so what does one do to bring more people to their attention?

I am sure there are many others out there if people would just research a little and bring to others attention.
