Tom Nolette wrote:All good questions coach. I think several at AE level, but that year of prep is a factor for some .. I'd like to discuss more as time permits. Good news for you coach, I'll be rolling out some video over next few days so you can observe

I'll say this Terion Moss 2018 can get where ever he wants with the ball and getting better as he goes , and several in 2019. Matt Fleming is a lock imo. Ben Onek (#24 )high upside and possible others ..

Several D2 and lots of good D3 players

BBN lost the Sunday am contest while Bluewave won theirs.. More then the effort on the floor, the way the teams and players carried themselves speaks volumes to the quality of coach and players..

Some of you may not know, but I've been around the circuit for a while and know how this works and doesn't. Bad body language, not playing hard every play, how you act when you come out of the game are of great interest to college coaches

The recruiting process for mid D1 , D2 and D3 is a whole lot different then evaluating the HIGH majors. High majors are easy to identify .. A diamond in the rough, a late-bloomer, a big upside are then added into the coaches equation when looking at mid-D1, D2, D3 ..

Most relationships with coaches begin by chance .. You never know where or who is watching . So play every play , both ends of the court .. I mentioned consistency the other night on a tweet. Later that night I heard Coach Van Gundy on NBA summer league say " What separates players is consistency " I couldn't agree me ..

Coaches need to know they can count on you playing well most of the time ..

GREAT PHOTO of both team together !!

2017 Summer Championships Sunday Standouts

Sebastian Skoko- Boston Warriors
The Vermont Academy product had a strong showing this morning. He consistently beat his defenders off the dribble and was able to finish at the rim in a variety of ways. His strong build allowed him to finish through contact on numerous occasions and helped his team pick up a win.

Thornton Academy: David Keohan- Blue Wave Elite
The 6'5" forward out of Maine showcased his high motor in this morning's win. He was able to score with his back to the basket, as well as putting the ball on the ground on the perimeter and getting to the rim. The forward moves well and is consistently attaching the glass for rebounds.

UMaine men's basketball tracking two major high school prospects

ORONO - A lot of Maine's basketball history is built on the players who were homegrown in the state, and eventually went on to contribute to the UMaine program at the Division I level. The program often looks in-state for top talent, and it appears the team has two big names on its radar for the next couple of seasons.

A source indicated the Maine coaching staff is currently tracking Portland star Terion Moss alongside Oxford Hills' Matthew Fleming. The two were part of an AAU tournament in Springfield, Massachusetts, and the coaching staff was on-hand to watch them. They are expected to keep tabs on them throughout the upcoming school year and the rest of the summer.
